Golden Coir Tufts

Golden Coir Tufts is located at Sf. No. 57/1- A1 in Singanallur, near the Akilandapuram Post in Pollachi. If you know Pollachi, you know it’s famous for its coconuts, so being here for a coir business makes a lot of sense. We are basically out in the middle of the coconut groves. Our site is more of an industrial plot than a fancy office. We have large sheds where we process the coir and make the tufts. It’s a lot of physical work, and the machines can be quite loud when they’re running all day. The air is always filled with the smell of coconut husks and a bit of dust. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write nice things about us. We’re just a bunch of local workers who know how to handle coir. Our office is just a small room at the front where we keep the ledger and take calls. Some days the heat is really tough, and we have to take a lot of breaks in the shade. We just focus on getting the production numbers right and keeping the quality where it should be. It’s a basic operation, but it’s what keeps us going. If you come out to Singanallur looking for us, just look for the coconut trees and the sound of the machinery.
