Abletech Engineering

Down in the Ganapathy area, over at Ganesh Layout, you will find our place at No 313. It is tucked away in Vannan Kovil Thottam. We do engineering work here, mostly mechanical stuff that requires a bit of precision and care. It is a very practical workspace. We have our machines set up and there is usually the smell of cutting oil in the air throughout the day. We do not have a big reception area or a waiting room. Most people who come to see us are looking to get specific parts made or repaired. We spend our mornings setting up the lathes and double-checking the drawings we were given. It is not a quiet place by any means. The neighborhood is a mix of houses and other small workshops like ours. We have been at this for a long time now. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out, which is frustrating but it is just part of the deal. We try to keep our tools in good shape because that is what really matters in this line of work. If you walk in, you will probably see us in our work clothes with a bit of grease on our hands. We do not do much advertising at all. Most of our work comes from word of mouth around Coimbatore. We just focus on the job at hand and try to get it right.
