A Jayakrishnan

A Jayakrishnan is based at Meena Illam, which is New No. 27 and Old No. 12 in Chinthamani Nagar. This is over in the K.K. Pudur area of Saibaba Colony in Coimbatore. It is more of a residential-style office, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than those big glass buildings downtown. We’ve been here for a good amount of time now, working on various accounting and tax matters for people in the locality. The office is part of the house, so it has a very personal feel to it. You walk in and it’s just a regular workspace with desks, chairs, and lots of paper everywhere. Saibaba Colony is a nice place to work because it’s a mix of homes and shops. Most of the people who visit us are neighbors or local shopkeepers who need their accounts looked at. We don't do much fancy talking here. It’s mostly just sitting down, looking at the numbers, and figuring out the best way to move forward with the filing. The address can be a little confusing with the old and new numbers, but once people find Chinthamani Nagar, they usually get to us okay. It’s a quiet life of work, punctuated by the sounds of the neighborhood. We just take things as they come and try to be as accurate as possible with everyone’s records. It is a humble setup but it works for us. We just keep working until the job is finally finished.
