Tagore School

Tagore School is situated in Taranagar, which is in the Churu district. If you know anything about Churu, you know it gets some of the most extreme weather in India, being very hot in the summer and quite cold in the winter. Our school building is built to handle that, with thick walls and simple rooms. We are right in the Taranagar area, so most of the students live within a short walk or a quick cycle ride away. The school isn't very fancy. We have the standard classrooms with benches that have been used by many students over the years. The courtyard in the middle is where we all gather for the morning prayers and any announcements that need to be made. It’s a quiet town most of the time, except when the school bell rings and everyone heads home. The teachers here are mostly locals who understand the community well. We spend our days going through the syllabus and making sure the registers are up to date. The office is small and usually has a few parents waiting to talk about their children's grades or fees. We don’t have a lot of extra bells and whistles, just the basics that a school needs to function properly. It’s a practical place for the people of Taranagar to send their kids. We just focus on the daily routine and keeping the school running for the students.
