Alok Secondary School Jhothara

Out here in Churu, the weather can be really harsh, but Alok Secondary School Jhothara stays open through the heat and the cold. We are located in Ward No 14, and if you follow Lilaki Ke Rasta, you will find us easily enough. Jothran is a quiet place for the most part, though things get a bit more active when school is starting or letting out. The building is a simple one, built to handle the Rajasthan climate as much as possible. Our address is right in the heart of this neighborhood, so many of the children just walk over from their houses nearby. We don’t have any big, shiny signs, just the name of the school painted on the wall near the entrance. Every morning, the staff arrives and starts getting the registers ready for the day. Sometimes the wind blows a lot of sand onto the porch, so we have to sweep it out constantly. It is just a regular school where we try to keep things moving forward for the kids in the village. There is nothing very complicated about how we run things. We just open the doors, teach the lessons, and make sure the place is locked up properly at the end of the day. It is a basic but reliable spot.
