Kalpvrakshh Pulses Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our company is tucked away in Gali Number 18 of Rampura Basti in Lalgarh. We operate from the home of Shivprakash Sharma’s wife. We are a group of farmers who mostly deal with pulses. It’s a staple for everyone around here, so we focus on that. Being a producer company helps us stay organized. We aren't in a big industrial area or a fancy office park. We are right there in the basti where we live. When we have a meeting, it’s usually in the main room or out on the porch. We talk about the pulse crops, the prices in the market, and who needs help with their seeds. It’s a community thing. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of slogans. We just know about farming pulses. It’s hard work, especially when the weather doesn't behave. We try to help the smaller farmers get a better deal by combining our harvests. The paperwork is a bit of a pain, but we help each other through it. Most of us have been doing this since we were kids, so we know the land well. We don't use corporate talk because it doesn't fit who we are. We are just people from Lalgarh trying to make sure our families and our neighbors can keep farming. It's a simple goal and we work at it every day, slowly but surely. If the rains are good, we have a lot to do, and if they aren't, we still have to figure things out. We just take it as it comes.
