Chitra Marble Industry

Chitra Marble Industry is out at Plot No B 28/1 in Adityapuram. We are pretty close to the Sawa Shambhupura Road, which makes it easier for the trucks to get in and out. This area is more industrial, so there’s more space for us to keep the big blocks of stone. It’s not as crowded as the city center, which I like. We spend our days mostly handling the raw material and getting it ready. There’s always dust in the air from the machines, so we wear our masks and just get on with it. My brother and I usually handle the front while our workers deal with the heavy lifting in the back. People drive out here specifically to see what we have in the yard. It takes a little while to drive out here for some, but they usually find what they need. We don't have a big showroom with lights and air conditioning. It’s just a practical setup for a stone business. The sun can be quite harsh out here in Adityapuram, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. When a customer arrives, we walk them through the rows of slabs. It’s straightforward work. We’ve been at this plot for a while now and don’t plan on moving anytime soon.
