B T S Cement Bricks & Tiles

We are out at number 19 in Budnahatti. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, though things get moving when the trucks show up. Dealing with cement bricks and tiles means our clothes usually have a bit of grey dust on them by the end of the shift. That’s just part of the life here in Buddanahatty. We have a good amount of space to keep the stock, which is necessary because those bricks take up a lot of room. My hands are usually rough from handling the material, but you get used to that after a few weeks. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just a yard and a small space to keep the records straight. The weather dictates a lot of what we do. If it rains, we have to scramble to cover things up before the cement gets ruined. On sunny days, it’s just hot and dry out in the open. We have a few locals who help out with the loading when things get busy. It’s steady work. Not many people wander out this way unless they are looking for building materials. We know the neighbors around here well. Sometimes we sit outside when the sun starts to go down after a long day of stacking bricks. It’s a simple life. We make the bricks, we move the tiles, and we go home. Nothing too complicated about it. We’ve been at this spot for a while and it suits us just fine for the work.
