Ikon Trading Co.

You can find Ikon Trading Co. at 418/18, Laxman Chawdi. We are located right opposite the Arahat Market and very close to Mondha Road. It’s a very busy commercial part of the city. There are always small trucks and tempos loading and unloading goods nearby, so the street can get quite crowded during the day. Our workspace is part of an older chawdi building. It has high ceilings, but the walls are definitely showing their age and could use some work. We’ve been trading from this location for many years. Our daily routine involves a lot of lifting, moving heavy boxes, and double-checking invoices. We don’t have any air conditioning in the office, just some large old ceiling fans that make a bit of a creaking sound as they spin. The market across the street brings a lot of people to the area, so it’s never quiet. Sometimes people wander into our shop thinking we sell something completely different. We keep our operation very simple. There is no reception area or fancy furniture to sit on. We just have some very sturdy wooden tables and a lot of storage space for the products we trade. We know most of the other business owners around here and we all get our tea from the same person every afternoon. It’s a straightforward business and we just try to keep things moving.
