Will Rubber Products

Our place is on Nakkiran Street in Pallikaranai, specifically at No. 8-A. It’s a quiet enough corner of Periyar Nagar, though the morning commute can be a bit of a scramble sometimes. Will Rubber Products is a small operation. We basically just work with rubber all day, making different bits and pieces that go into other machines. It’s not the most glamorous job in the world, but it’s what keeps the lights on. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where we keep the molds and the raw material. We’ve got a small crew here, mostly locals who live nearby and walk or bike to work. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or anything like that. We mostly get by through people hearing about us from someone else. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer, but we keep the fans going and keep working. Sometimes a machine breaks down or a shipment shows up late, and we just have to deal with it. That’s just how it goes when you’re running a small shop. We try to keep things organized, but in a workspace like this, there’s always a bit of clutter or a pile of scraps in the corner. It’s just how we operate. We’re just regular folks trying to do a decent job every day on the street we’ve called home for quite a while now.
