Vanavil Papers & Stationary

Our shop is a bit confusing to find at first because of the old and new numbers. It says Old No. 22/ 6 and New No. 57 on the front, right there on Saidapet Road in Vadapalani. We have been selling paper and stationery items for a good long while now. The shelves are packed with notebooks, pens, and all sorts of office supplies. It’s a tight squeeze if more than three people come in at once because we have boxes stacked in the aisles. Vadapalani is a crowded area, so there is always someone popping in for a single pen or a bundle of paper. The floor is a bit worn out from all the walking, and the fan on the ceiling makes a clicking sound that we’ve just gotten used to. We spend a lot of time counting out packets of pencils or organizing the ledger books. It’s a simple life, really. We don't have any big computer systems to track things; mostly we just remember where we put the stock. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the road for a few minutes and the neighbors complain, but we just move as fast as we can. It’s just a regular local shop where we work from morning until the shutters go down at night. We know most of the regular customers who come from the nearby offices.
