Panakottur Village is where we are. It’s a bit of a drive out to Maraimalai Nagar. Our plot is 858 in Sri Ganapathi Nagar. Finding No. 75 can be tricky because the survey numbers are all mixed up. Most people call us for directions when they get near the 124/196 area. We’ve been here at Ecobber Technologies for some time now. It’s quiet compared to the city, which is nice for getting work done. The building is simple. We don’t have a big lobby or anything like that. Just desks and the gear we need. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just wait it out or talk for a bit. It’s not a fancy tech park like you see in the magazines. It’s just a workspace in a village area. We have a small yard where some grass grows between the stones. We try to keep things organized, but when we get busy, boxes start piling up near the entrance. It feels more like a workshop than a private limited company sometimes. People around here know us by name. It’s a long address to write down on envelopes, that’s for sure. Plot No. 858 isn’t hard to spot once you’re on the right street in Ganapathi Nagar. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing every day. It's a long commute for some of us, but we don't mind the quiet life out here.
