Omega Computronix

We are right here on Wallers Road, specifically at No. 33 C, which is just off Mount Road. If you know this part of Chennai, you know it is the place where everyone goes when they need electronics or parts. Our shop, Omega Computronix, fits right in with the rest of the businesses on the street. It is usually pretty busy and loud outside, with bikes and people moving constantly throughout the day. Inside, the space is a bit cramped because we have so many parts and computer systems stacked up on the shelves. We have been in this exact spot for quite some time now. Most of our days are spent taking things apart and carefully putting them back together. We do not have a lot of room for a fancy waiting area, so people usually just stand and talk to us while we are working on their gear. It is a very hands-on kind of place. We get all kinds of people coming in, from young students to older folks who just need their laptops to turn on again so they can check their mail. We do not use a lot of technical jargon if we can avoid it. We just explain what we see. Sometimes we find a fix quickly, and other times we have to keep a machine overnight to really test it. It is a tough business sometimes, but we like the action.
