Setting up shop at New No. 78/92 on 5th Street in Padmanabha Nagar has worked out well for us over the years. Adyar is the kind of area that has its own unique rhythm, and being in Padmanabha Nagar puts us in a place where things are convenient but not as chaotic as the main roads often get. Dextan Systems Private Limited is a very functional, no-nonsense kind of office. We have our desks set up and a small corner for meetings that usually ends up being more about discussing the morning news or the local weather than anything else. We deal with various systems and technical projects, so there is naturally a lot of time spent looking at screens for everyone on the staff. We aren't the kind of company that has a big, fancy reception area or a lot of corporate posters on the walls. It is just a group of regular people who happen to be good at what they do, working together in a normal office environment. Most of us have been around here long enough that we know every little quirk of the building, like which window lets in the best breeze in the late afternoon. We take things one day at a time, making sure our various projects are moving forward and that we are keeping our processes simple. It is a straightforward way to run things, and it works for us. We just focus on the daily grind and keeping our work organized without any big fuss.
