Velammal Hospitals

Velammal Hospitals is situated in Ts.Krishna Nagar. It has been around for quite a while now. This isn't some fancy, modern building with a lot of glass. It is just a big, practical place where we work every day. The neighborhood of Ts.Krishna Nagar is usually pretty busy, and the hospital is no exception. We have people coming in at all hours. Some are just here for a quick test, while others might stay for a few days. The hallways are long and painted a dull white. We have a lot of staff members, from nurses to cleaners, all doing their own thing. It can get a bit loud in the waiting areas when there are many families around. We don't have any of those automatic check-in kiosks. We just have people behind a counter with a lot of files. The canteen serves basic food and tea, which is where most of us go when we get a break. The parking lot is usually full of bikes and the occasional car. We deal with everything from broken bones to more serious stuff. It is a lot of work and sometimes the shifts feel very long. We don't really talk about missions or anything like that. We just focus on the patients who are in front of us. It is a simple, hardworking environment. We do our jobs and then we go home. That is just how life is here in Ts.Krishna Nagar.
