Cosh Multi Speciality Hospital

You can find us over at 9 Duraiswamy Nagar, right on I.A.F. Road near MCC. It is a multi-speciality hospital, which basically means we see all kinds of stuff throughout the day. People come in with everything from small scrapes to things that are much more serious. The lobby usually has someone waiting, and there is a lot of back and forth between the different departments. We try to keep the place organized, but on busy days, it can feel a little hectic with the phones ringing and people asking questions at the front desk. The staff stays busy checking people in and out or moving equipment between rooms. It isn't a very large building, so you get to know everyone who works here pretty fast. We have some regular patients who have been coming to us for years. The location is fairly easy to get to, and most locals know exactly where we are because of the landmark. We spend a lot of time just making sure the charts are updated and the rooms are ready for the next person. It is not a flashy place, just a hospital where the doctors and nurses go about their daily tasks. Sometimes the hallways are a bit narrow, especially when we are moving a stretcher. We just handle it one person at a time. It’s a lot of responsibility, but it’s just the job we have. The night shift is usually quieter, but you never know what will come through the door.
