Chennai Meenakshi Multispeciality Hospital

Our hospital sits right on Luz Church Road in Mylapore, directly across from the Indian Bank. If you know this area, you know how the traffic can get, so being easy to spot is a big help. The building uses New No 72, but some of the older residents still call it Old No 148. We handle a lot of different medical cases here since we are a multispeciality setup. That means there is always something going on, from the pharmacy in the front to the different wards upstairs. It’s not a quiet place, but hospitals rarely are. The nurses and the desk staff stay pretty busy coordinating everything. We have various departments under one roof so people don't have to travel all over Chennai for different tests or consultations. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow when it's visiting hours, but we make do. The floors are clean and we try to keep things organized even when it’s hectic. Being in Mylapore means we get a lot of walk-ins from the neighborhood. We aren't trying to be a five-star hotel; we’re just a hospital where you can come when you’re sick or need a checkup. We’ve been part of this street for a long time now. Most of us who work here live close by too, so it feels like a community spot. We just focus on the patients and getting them through their treatment without too much fuss.
