We are over at 267 Kilpauk Garden Road in Kilpauk. It’s a busy spot. Most mornings start with the sound of traffic outside and the staff trickling in. Some of us have been here for years. We just get on with the work. The building is easy to find if you know the Kilpauk area well. Inside, it's mostly desks and people talking about projects. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. Alstrut India Pvt. Ltd. isn't a massive skyscraper or anything. It's just a regular place where we spend our eight or nine hours. We eat lunch together sometimes. Sometimes we just grab something from the nearby shops. There’s a lot of paper around and computers hum all day. Usually, the courier guy comes by around three. We know the neighbors fairly well. It’s a local routine. We don’t really do fancy meetings with big presentations. Most things get settled over a quick chat in the hallway or at someone's desk. That’s just how it goes here. We close up around six or seven depending on what’s left to do. It’s not a complicated setup. We just show up at Kilpauk and do what needs doing. It feels like a second home for most of the crew.
