If you walk down East Arasamaram Street in Chennai, you’ll find our office at 14/13. It is a typical street in this part of Tamil Nadu, narrow and always alive with some kind of activity or noise. Our office is tucked away here, where we spend most of our days staring at screens and typing away on keyboards. It’s an IT company, but it doesn’t feel like those big glass buildings you see in the fancy tech parks. We are more grounded here in the local neighborhood. The sound of the street comes in through the windows, which can be a bit much when you’re trying to code, but you get used to it after a week or two. There are about a dozen of us usually, squeezed into the space with our laptops and a lot of tangled wires. We drink a lot of tea from the stall around the corner to keep ourselves going through the long afternoons. Chennai heat is no joke, so the AC is always running, or at least we try to keep it running when the power is steady. We handle all sorts of technical tasks for people, mostly just fixing things or building what’s needed for their projects. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide good work from our little corner of 600023. It’s a bit messy sometimes with papers everywhere, but we know where everything is. It’s a real place with real people.
