Hypertex

We run our business, Hypertex, from a flat in Vadapalani. The address is 8 A/d S G Flats on Karuneegar Street. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a company if you’re used to big glass buildings, but it works fine for what we do. Vadapalani is a very crowded area, especially with the temple and all the shops nearby, but our street is tucked away enough that it stays relatively quiet. The flat itself isn't very large. We’ve set up our desks in the main rooms and use the kitchen for our breaks. It has a very home-like feel to it, which we actually prefer over a cold office. You might miss the entrance if you aren't looking closely at the building numbers. There’s no big neon sign or anything like that. We mostly deal with our work over the phone or on our laptops. Sometimes a neighbor will pop by to say hello. It’s a very local way of doing things. We’ve been here for a good amount of time and the landlord is decent. We don’t have a lot of corporate rules here. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and try to keep things organized. It’s a simple, honest way to run things in a busy part of town. We don't worry about sounding fancy, we just get on with it.
