Our office is in Alagiri Nagar, right in the Vadapalani area of Chennai. L2h Holidays Tours Travels is basically just a few of us sitting with computers and phones trying to figure out trip details for people. Vadapalani is always crowded and noisy, so there’s a lot of sound coming from outside our windows all day. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and checking bus or flight times on the screens. People come in wanting to go somewhere for a break, and we try to find something that fits their budget. It’s not always easy because prices change all the time without warning. We’ve had local people coming to us for years now for their trips. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of employees or anything corporate like that. We’re just local folks who know a bit about travel and the routes. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait a while to finish a booking, which is annoying but we just deal with it. We handle a lot of local tours and some further away stuff too. It’s mostly about making sure people have their tickets and know exactly where they are going. We keep a lot of papers and brochures around the office, so it can get a bit cluttered and messy. We just like helping people get out of the city for a while. It’s a busy job most of the time during the holiday seasons.
