Kr Cabs

Our little office is at No. 20/26 on Amarar Jeeva Streeet. It’s a fairly quiet side street, which is nice when we’re trying to coordinate where the cars need to be. Kr Cabs is pretty straightforward. We have a few drivers who know the city like the back of their hands. The office itself is just a desk, a couple of chairs, and a phone that doesn't seem to stop ringing some days. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and checking the time. Managing a taxi service means you're always thinking about traffic and who is nearest to the next pickup. We’ve been operating from this Amarar Jeeva Streeet address for quite some time now. Some of our drivers have been with us since the start. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of waiting around for the next call and then a lot of rushing once it comes in. We try to keep the cars clean, but with the dust on the roads, it feels like a losing battle sometimes. We mostly deal with people in the neighborhood who need a lift to the station or the hospital. They know our names and we know theirs. It’s a small operation, and we don’t try to be anything else. We just focus on getting people where they need to go without any drama. It is just basic work, done one trip at a time.
