Usam Technology Solution is based out of Sunder Cottage on Weavers Street. It is a quiet part of Erumpily, down in the Kk District of Tamil Nadu. Working from a cottage is a bit different than the usual tech office people imagine. We are surrounded by houses and small shops rather than skyscrapers. Vaniyakudi Post is where we get our mail. The office is basically just a few rooms filled with computers and cables. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains hard, which happens quite a bit around here. We spend our days mostly staring at screens and trying to solve technical problems for our clients. There are a few of us working here, and we have known each other for a long time. We usually take our lunch breaks together under the shade outside. It is a long way from the big cities like Chennai, but we find it better to work in a place where we can actually hear the birds. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy sign out front, just a small nameplate on the gate of Sunder Cottage. If you are looking for Weavers Street, it is just off the main road through Erumpily. It is a practical setup that lets us do our work without too many distractions. We keep things pretty informal here. Most of our neighbors just know us as the guys who work on computers. The old gate squeaks a bit.
