Usam Systems

We’re located in Mylapore, specifically on 1st Cross Street in CIT Colony. It’s a nice enough area, and being near the Nilgiris department store makes it easy for people to find us. We handle a lot of different system-related tasks here at number four. The office is usually filled with the sound of keyboards clicking and people talking over the phone. We aren’t one of those big tech companies with bean bags and free snacks. We just have regular desks and chairs and a lot of wires running everywhere. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the Chennai heat, but we manage. Most of the staff has been here for a while, so we’ve got a good rhythm going. We don’t spend much time on fancy meetings; we mostly just talk to each other across the room when something needs to be fixed. It’s a practical environment. Mylapore has its own vibe, and we like being part of it. You can step out and get a good coffee nearby when the afternoon slump hits. We deal with various computer systems and software issues throughout the day. It’s just steady work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We don't try to make it sound more complicated than it is. We just look at what’s broken or needs setting up and we do it. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. There’s always someone around to answer the phone or help out with whatever pops up.
