This office is over in Amanthikarai, specifically at New Number 11 on Vijaya Eswari Street. It’s tucked away in the Ayyavunaidu Colony. If you are looking for us, just ask for N. Kannappan’s place because that’s the care of address we use. The old number for the house was 5, but the city changed the numbering a few years back, which still confuses some delivery drivers. Chennai-25 is a busy zone but our little street is actually somewhat tucked away from the main noise. At Updater Services P Ltd, we just go about our business without much fuss. The office is really just a converted part of the building. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes, which I think is nice. There is a tree near the entrance that gives some shade in the afternoon. We don’t have fancy glass doors or a big security guard at the gate. You just walk in and someone will be there to talk to you. The floors are plain tile and we keep things as tidy as we can. It’s a humble spot but we’ve been here long enough that the postman knows us by heart. We don't need a lot of bells and whistles to do what we do. It's just us and the work. The fans are always humming and there is usually a stack of papers on my desk that needs sorting. It's a simple life and we like the location well enough for what we need.
