Our spot is on the first floor of the Golf Arcade building in Nandanam. It’s right at 27/4 on Veterinary Hospital Road, so there’s always some noise from the traffic outside. You get used to the sound of horns and bikes after a while. The office isn't huge, but we’ve managed to fit all the desks and equipment we need. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it keeps us moving. Most of us arrive around 9 or 10 in the morning. We spend the day dealing with various tech projects. It’s mostly just sitting in front of monitors and talking to each other about how to fix things. There isn't much decoration on the walls, just some old calendars and maybe a few notes pinned up. We keep a stash of tea and biscuits in the corner for when the afternoons get long. Upbeat Technologies is really just a group of people who know their way around computers. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the phone rings, whoever is closest just picks it up. Nandanam is a decent area to work in, plenty of places to grab a bite nearby. Sometimes we walk down the street to clear our heads. It’s a practical setup. We handle the work as it comes in and try to stay organized, even if the desks get a bit cluttered with papers and cables. It’s a quiet life here mostly.
