Universal Traders

We’ve been running Universal Traders from 78 Devarajamudali St in Park Town for as long as I can remember. This part of the city is always packed, and our shop is right in the thick of it. We trade in a bit of everything, depending on what’s in demand. The shelves are packed high, and sometimes it feels like the ceiling is coming down with all the stock we keep. It’s a typical Park Town business—fast-paced, a bit messy, and very loud. We deal with people from all over who come looking for specific items they can’t find elsewhere. Our team is just a few family members and a couple of helpers who have been with us for years. We don't have a website or any fancy brochures. People know us because we’ve been at this same spot for decades. The street outside is a constant stream of carts and people, so getting deliveries in can be a challenge. We start early, before the heat gets too bad, and usually close up once the street starts to quiet down. It’s a lot of lifting, counting, and haggling, but it’s what we know. We don’t make big promises; we just show you what we have and tell you the price. If you’re looking for something, there’s a good chance it’s buried somewhere in our shop at number 78. It's just a regular trading life.
