The address can be a little confusing for people who haven't been here before. We are at New No 4, which used to be Old No 32. It’s on Thalayari Street in Royapettah, right near Amir Mahal. That landmark helps a lot when we are giving directions over the phone. Being so close to the palace gives the area a bit of a different feel compared to other parts of the city. Thalayari Street is one of those places where everyone seems to know everyone else. Our building is tucked in between some others, and it has a narrow front. Once you get inside, it opens up a bit more. We’ve been here long enough to see the street change, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. The walls are a bit thin, so we can hear the neighbors occasionally, and the street noise is always there in the background. We don't have a lot of space for anything extra, so every inch of the office is used for something. There’s a small area where we keep the server and another spot for the kettle. It’s a functional environment. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the furniture or the layout. It’s just where we come to work every day in Royapettah. The commute can be a bit of a pain with the local traffic, but being in this part of town is worth it.
