Unique Enterprises

Lingi Chetty Street is a busy place in Chennai. We've been at No.82 for a while now. It's not a fancy office, just a spot where we get our work done every day. Most people who come by know the area well because it’s always crowded with shops and people moving things around. We started Unique Enterprises without much of a plan, just wanting to handle our own business. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear, but we’re used to it. The walls inside could probably use a new coat of paint, but they hold up the roof and that's what matters. We deal with whatever comes through the door. It’s mostly just us keeping track of orders and making sure things get where they need to go. You won't find any big signs or flashy lights here. We just open the shutters in the morning and stay until the work is finished. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months, but we have a few fans that keep the air moving. People usually find us by word of mouth or if they happen to be walking down this specific part of the street. There isn't much to say other than we're here every day except Sundays. It's a plain way to earn a living, but it works for us. We've seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, though the noise stays about the same. That’s just how it is on Lingi Chetty Street. We like it fine.
