Ums Infotech is situated in Kg Plaza on General Patters Road. We are on the third floor in rooms T-5 and 10. If you have ever been to GP Road, you know it is famous for car parts and all sorts of electronics shops. It is always loud and crowded with vehicles and people moving things around. Our office is a bit of an escape from that chaos once you get up to the third floor. The plaza is an older building, and the elevator can be a bit slow, so some of us just take the stairs for the exercise. Inside, it’s just a plain office setup. We have our workstations lined up and that’s about it. We don't have a lobby or a fancy waiting area for people. It’s a very practical space for the tech work we handle every day. The light from the windows is good in the morning, which helps since we spend so much time looking at screens. Being in this part of town means everything is close by, but the traffic can be a nightmare in the evenings when we are trying to head home. We just do our work and keep to ourselves mostly. The neighbors in the other units are mostly small businesses like ours, so it's a quiet floor for the most part. It’s just a regular place to work.
