We've been at 16, Pillayar, Kovil Street Extension for a while now. Most days start early with the shutter going up and checking what came in overnight. It’s a quiet enough street, but people find us when their computers act up or they need a quick fix for a cable. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with all the wires and spare parts on the main table, but that’s just how we work here. We aren't a big fancy showroom. It's just a small space where we handle tech stuff day in and day out. If you walk past the Pillayar temple area, you’ll see our sign right there. We mostly deal with local folks from the neighborhood who’ve known us for years. Often, someone just drops by to ask a question about a slow laptop while we’re having tea. We don’t mind. It's good to be part of the local scene here. The street gets a bit busy in the evenings when everyone is heading home, so that’s usually our busiest time too. We keep things simple, focusing on getting things working again without making a huge fuss about it. There’s always some project or another sitting on the bench waiting for a part. That’s pretty much life at Udhayam Info Tech. We just keep at it, one computer at a time, making sure things stay running for the people around here.
