Our office is in the Adithya Business Centre, which is part of the Sire Mansion building on Anna Salai. We are up on the third floor, room number 621. Being in Thousand Lights means there is always something going on outside. The traffic on Anna Salai never really stops, and you can hear the horns even from the third floor. It is a big building with lots of other businesses, so the elevators are usually full of people in a hurry. Our space isn't huge, but we have enough room for the team. We have some basic office furniture and a small corner for making tea. The carpet is a bit worn in the spots where we walk the most. Most of us come in early to avoid the worst of the heat. It is a practical space, really. We spend most of the day at our computers. Sometimes we walk down to the nearby shops to get some fresh air or a snack. The building manager is a nice guy who has been here for years. We don't have any fancy art on the walls or anything like that. Just some calendars and notes pinned up. It feels like a real workplace because it is. Every day is pretty much the same routine of answering emails and getting through the pile of work on our desks. It’s just how things are here in the middle of Chennai. We lock up around six.
