If you know where the Nataraj Theatre is in Choolai, then you’re pretty close to us. We are over on Sattannan Street at number 59/24. It’s a typical Chennai neighborhood, a bit loud and always active. We handle architecture and interior design, mostly for people right here in the local area. We don't have a big, shiny showroom. Our office is where the real work happens, with rolls of paper everywhere and bits of wood or tile samples lying around. We started this because we liked the idea of making people's homes look a bit better without it costing a fortune. A lot of the houses around here are quite old, so we have to be smart about how we change things without causing problems with the structure. It’s a bit of a puzzle sometimes. We talk to people about what they need, whether it’s a new kitchen or just some better cupboards, and then we try to make it work. We aren't the kind of people who tell you what you want. We listen, then we tell you what's possible and what isn't. It’s better to be honest about it from the start. We spend a lot of time visiting sites and checking on the workers. It's not a glamorous job, but it's good to see something being built from nothing. We’re just local folks doing our best to help other locals with their building projects.
