Prabanja Technologies

Our setup at Prabanja Technologies is inside Prakash Flat, specifically at 6/11 on T. P. Kovil Street. It’s a typical Triplicane building, so it’s got that old-style feel to it. Being right opposite N. K. T. Boys School means we hear the school bell and the kids shouting every afternoon when they get let out. It’s a noisy neighborhood, but it’s got a lot of character. We work in what used to be a living room, now filled with monitors and tangled cables. There’s about five of us usually. We do a lot of coding and technical work, mostly sitting in those plastic chairs that eventually make your back ache. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If someone knocks, one of us just gets up and opens the door. Usually, it’s just the delivery guy or someone looking for the flat next door. We keep a stash of biscuits and tea bags in the small kitchen area. The street outside is narrow, so parking is a nightmare, which is why most of us just take the bus or walk. It’s not a shiny tech hub like you see in the movies. It’s just a flat where we happen to run a business. We stay late sometimes when a project is due, watching the streetlights come on through the window. It’s a bit cramped, but we make it work and get the tasks finished eventually. It's just a regular workplace for us.
