Traditional Paddy Conference Council

Our office is located at No. 20-A in Sivam Nagar, which is right along Panagal Salai in Thiruvarur. If you know the area, it is a place where you can really feel the connection to the land and the farming traditions. Thiruvarur is famous for its paddy fields and the history of rice cultivation, and that is exactly why the Traditional Paddy Conference Council is situated here. We are not a corporate office with glass walls or anything. It is a more modest space where we sit down and talk about the crops, the seasons, and how things are going for the local growers. Most of the people who stop by are involved in agriculture in one way or another. We spend a lot of time organizing things and making sure our records are kept straight. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We have a few desks and some old wooden chairs for when visitors come by to discuss the paddy cycles. It’s a practical environment. We don't spend much on advertising or making things look polished because that isn't what we are about.
