Thouway Technologies is over in Kodambakkam, located at 2 Excel Champak, 38 Akbarabad 2nd Street. Kodambakkam is known for a lot of things, mostly the film industry, but we’re just here doing tech work. The Excel Champak building is on a street that gets fairly busy during the day, so there’s always something going on outside. Our office isn't very large, just enough room for the team to sit comfortably and get through the day's work. It’s a plain building, and we’re on the second floor. We don't have a big lobby or a person standing at the door to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and see everyone at their computers. We’ve got some old furniture and a few newer desks we bought recently. The air conditioning is a necessity here, especially during the Chennai summers, though it sometimes makes a bit of noise. We handle different technology projects, and our days are mostly spent on calls or typing away. Akbarabad 2nd Street has a mix of houses and small offices like ours, so it feels like a community. We often go out to the local mess for lunch because the food there is better than anything we could bring from home. It’s a basic, functional workspace where we focus on getting things done without any of the extra corporate fluff you see in the big parks.
