We are located at No 2/302/A on Uds Salai, right off the Old Mahabalipuram Road in Thoraipakkam. If you know the area, you know it is a busy part of Chennai. Our office for Updater Services Pvt. Ltd. is a bit of a hub for the various services we provide. It is not one of those tall glass buildings, but it works for us. We have been here for quite some time now, watching the IT corridor grow and change around us. The traffic on OMR can be a real headache in the mornings, but we managed to find this spot that is tucked a little bit away from the main road noise. Our team here is pretty diverse. We spend our days managing various maintenance and facility tasks for other businesses. It is a lot of coordination and phone calls. Sometimes it gets a bit loud in the office when everyone is on the phone at once. We do not have a fancy canteen, so most of us go to the local stalls nearby for lunch. The food there is actually better than what you would get in a corporate cafeteria anyway. We keep things pretty simple here. No one wears suits unless there is a really important meeting. Most of the time, we are just in regular clothes, getting the work done. It is a practical way to run things. We are just a local business trying to keep up with the demands of the city and our clients.
