Thirumala Enterprises

Our shop is at 211/14 on Anna Street in the G.K.M. Colony area. It is a busy little street with a lot of houses and small shops mixed together. Thirumala Enterprises has been part of this neighborhood for quite some time now. We usually open up early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. Most of our day is spent talking to people who walk in or calling up our suppliers to see where the orders are. It is not a big corporate building, just a simple space with some shelves and a counter. We handle various items that the locals need. I have a small stool behind the counter where I sit and read the paper when things are quiet. The G.K.M. Colony is a tight-knit place, so everyone knows who we are. We do not have any fancy signs or advertisements in the paper. Most people just see us when they are passing by. Sometimes the rain floods the street a bit, but we just put up some boards and keep going. My nephew helps me out with the heavy lifting and the deliveries on his bike. We do not try to be anything we are not. It is just a local business trying to make a living and providing what the people around here are looking for. It is a decent life and we enjoy being part of the community here on Anna Street.
