Tech Zone

If you head over to Spencer Plaza on Anna Salai, you’ll find us in Phase 2. We are at Shop F-69 on the first floor. It’s one of those older malls that still has a lot of character, and we’ve been part of it for a while. Being in Tech Zone means we deal with a lot of different things, mostly small electronics, phone accessories, and sometimes helping people figure out why their gadgets aren't working. The mall can get pretty crowded on weekends with people just walking around, but our spot is usually steady. We spend most of the morning opening up and checking the inventory. Some days it's just about replacing a screen protector or finding the right charging cable for an old laptop. It's not always exciting, but it's what we do. The lights in the mall are always bright, and you can hear the hum of the air conditioning all day. We talk to all sorts of people, from students looking for cheap headphones to office workers from Mount Road who need a quick fix. Sometimes we have to tell people a part isn't in stock and they'll have to wait, which they don't always like. We just try to keep things moving and be honest about what can be done. It’s just a small shop in a big building, trying to get the job done every day for whoever walks in.
