Tci Chemicals (India) Pvt Ltd is located over in the MEPZ-SEZ in Tambaram. If you’re looking for us, we’re at Plot No. B-28, on the 5th Cross Street in Phase-II. Being in a Special Economic Zone means there’s a lot of security and rules to follow just to get into the area. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but it’s where all the industrial action is. The plot is fairly large, and we’ve got our operations set up to handle the chemical side of things. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t have much in the way of decoration. It’s mostly tanks, containers, and office desks. The 5th Cross Street can be quiet some days and really busy others with trucks moving in and out. We spend most of our time dealing with shipping and receiving. It’s a lot of logistics. Everyone here wears comfortable clothes because it’s a working site, not a corporate showroom. We don’t use those big words that marketing people like. We just call things what they are. Our day starts early because the heat can get pretty bad in Tambaram. We keep a close eye on the clock and the shipments. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We’ve been here in Phase-II for a good while now and we know the area well. It’s just a regular chemical company doing its thing in the SEZ.
