Micro Fine Chemicals

We are at number 22 on Nyniappa Naicken Street. If you know Chennai, you know this street is incredibly narrow and always full of people, handcarts, and the smell of various goods. Micro Fine Chemicals is right in the thick of it. Our shop is small and packed to the ceiling with bottles and jars. It is a very old way of doing business. There is no air conditioning, just a big ceiling fan that pushes the warm air around. We spend our days talking to customers who walk in from the street, looking for specific chemicals or lab supplies. It is loud outside with all the shouting and the horns, but we are used to it by now. We do not have a website that we update or any fancy brochures. People know us because we have been on this street for a long time. We keep our records in big ledgers and on an old computer that takes its time to start up. It is a bit dusty, and the shelves are crowded, but we know exactly where everything is. It is the kind of place where you get a glass of water if you stay long enough to chat. We just do our business, count the stock, and close up when the sun goes down. The street is so thin that two cars can barely pass each other, which makes for some interesting arguments outside our door. We do not even notice the chaos anymore.
