Tci Chemicals India Pvt. Ltd. operates out of B28 in Phase II over here in Tambaram. If you know the Mepsez area, you know how it gets during the shift changes every day. We are located right on 5th Cross Street. It’s mostly just us doing our thing with chemical supplies and making sure the orders get logged and shipped out. The office isn't anything fancy, just some desks and the usual equipment you'd expect to see. Sometimes the Chennai humidity really gets to the place in the summer, but we have the fans going and we just get on with it. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure everything matches the manifests we receive. It is a lot of paperwork really. Most of the people working here have been around for a few years, so we all know how the routine goes. The security at the Mepsez gate can be a bit of a hassle in the mornings, but once you're inside, it is quiet enough to focus. We do not really have a big front desk or anything, just the workspace where the actual work happens. It’s mostly just boxes and computers. We try to keep things organized but on busy days the 5th Cross Street side can get a bit cluttered with deliveries. That is just how it is in this part of Chennai. We have been at this location for a while now and most of us just take the local transport to get in every day.
