We’ve been running Takshvi Janav It Services (Opc) Private Limited from our spot here in Polachery for a bit now. It’s located in the DABC Orchid complex, specifically Block 3D, Flat 8. If you know the area, you know it’s a quiet residential patch that keeps us away from the main city noise. It’s basically just me and a couple of helpers handling the IT work that comes our way. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power fluctuates, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. We set up the office in one of the spare rooms and it’s filled with monitors and cables everywhere. People usually find us through word of mouth or by just seeing the address on a business card. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with a front desk or anything like that. We mostly just focus on getting the technical tasks finished without making a big fuss about it. The commute can be a bit long for some, but I like the quiet here after a long day of coding. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes, which has its pros and cons. We spend most of our mornings drinking tea and looking at the lists of things that need fixing. There’s no big signage outside, so you have to look for the flat number carefully. It’s a simple operation, really. We just try to stay busy and keep the computers running.
