Our office is on the first floor of the Kailash building, located at 39 Unnamalai Ammal Street in T. Nagar. It is a busy part of Chennai, but we have gotten used to the noise and the crowds over the years. We handle information systems and various technical tasks from this small space. It is not a flashy corporate headquarters with glass walls. Instead, it is just a regular office where a few of us sit at our desks and work through the daily pile of data and systems requests. The building is a bit older, and sometimes the stairs feel a little steep after a long day. We have a few computers, some basic furniture, and a kettle for making tea when we need a break. Most of our time is spent staring at monitors and trying to make sure the software behaves like it should. We do not have a big reception area or anything fancy like that. If you come by, you might see some papers scattered around because we stay pretty busy. We like being in T. Nagar because everything is close by, even if the traffic is a nightmare during rush hour. It is a practical setup for the kind of work we do here at Ta Autotec. We just focus on getting the systems right and keeping things moving along without much fuss.
