System Admin

System Admin is located in Chennai, specifically in the Triplicane area at Saravana Mansion on Theerapan Street. Triplicane is a very old and historic part of the city, and our street is quite narrow and always full of life. It’s not the easiest place to find if you’re not from around here, but it has a lot of character. We work out of a few rooms in the mansion. It’s a bit cramped, especially with all the server equipment and cables we have lying around. The salt air from the coast can be tough on the machines, so we spend a lot of time cleaning things and making sure everything stays cool. It gets incredibly hot in the summer, and we usually have several fans running at once to keep the air moving. Our work involves a lot of technical administration, so there’s always something that needs fixing or updating. We aren't a flashy tech firm with bean bags or free snacks. It’s just a bunch of us at our desks, getting through the daily list of tasks. We know the local shopkeepers and usually grab our morning tiffin from the place around the corner. The noise from the street is always there in the background, but we’ve learned to tune it out. It’s a very down-to-earth workplace. We just focus on keeping the systems running and making sure things don't break down unexpectedly.
