S.V.M. Engineers

You can find S.V.M. Engineers over at No:25 in Natesan Nagar. We are tucked away on 2Nd Street in Ayanambakkam. It’s a decent spot for an engineering outfit. We’ve got our machinery set up and it stays pretty loud in here most days. The street is usually quiet except for when we’re loading up a truck. We’ve been in Ayanambakkam for a bit now and we like the pace of it. It’s not as crazy as the city center. Our shop isn't anything special to look at. It has grease on the floors and tools all over the benches. But we know where everything is. We spend most of our time fixing things or making parts. It’s hands-on work. There’s about four or five of us here on a normal day. Sometimes more if a big job comes in. We drink a lot of tea and stay focused on the tasks. The neighbors in Natesan Nagar are used to the noise by now. We try to keep the door open for air, especially when it gets hot. People drop by with questions about metalwork or repairs. We help out when we can. We don't have a marketing guy or a big sign. The address is 2Nd Street and that’s where the work gets done. It’s a straightforward life. We show up, do the engineering stuff, and head home. That’s the way S.V.M. Engineers has always operated and it seems to work out okay for everyone involved.
