B. S. Engineering Industries

Down at No : 113 on Linghi Chetty Street, you'll find B. S. Engineering Industries. This street is famous for its hardware and engineering shops, and we have been a part of it for a long time. It’s a narrow road and can get quite congested with deliveries, but that’s just the way it is here. Inside our place, it’s mostly the smell of metal and oil. We do a lot of small-scale engineering work, making parts or fixing things that local businesses need. We aren't a massive factory, just a solid workshop where we know our tools and our materials. Most of our customers are people we've known for twenty years. They come in with a sketch or a broken part and ask if we can make a new one. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. Word of mouth is how people find us. We keep our machines running and try to get the work out the door as fast as we can without rushing the quality. It’s a bit dark inside sometimes, and the noise of the street is always there in the background. Linghi Chetty Street has a certain energy that you don't find elsewhere. We like being right in the thick of it, helping keep the local industry moving one small part at a time.
