We are based out of Plot Number 5 in Madhanapuri, which is over in the Kolapakkam area of Chennai. It’s a bit quieter than the city center, which we appreciate when we’re trying to think. The office is basically a house that we converted into a workspace. It feels a bit more comfortable that way, honestly. We do a lot of solution-based work, mostly on the computer all day long. There’s a small group of us here, and we’ve been working together for a while now. We don't have those big glass walls or a cafeteria. We just have a small kitchen area where we make tea and heat up our tiffins. Kolapakkam is growing, but it still has a bit of a local feel to it. Sometimes the neighbors come by to say hello. We spend our mornings looking at emails and our afternoons getting deep into technical tasks. It’s not the most exciting work to talk about, but it’s what we know how to do. We keep the place tidy but it’s definitely a working office, not a showroom. There are stacks of papers and old hard drives here and there. We just try to get through our list of tasks every day. It’s a decent place to work and we don't have to deal with the crazy traffic of central Chennai every single morning.
