We are located on 14th Street in Welcome Colony. If you know the Anna Nagar Western Extension area in Chennai, you know it’s a decent neighborhood with a lot of houses and small shops mixed together. Our place at 31/22 is where Stenbro It Solutions operates from. It’s a standard office setup that we put together ourselves. We do IT work, which mostly means sitting in front of monitors and checking code or fixing systems that have gone wrong. It’s not the kind of thing that looks cool or fast-paced in movies, it’s just a lot of typing, thinking, and sometimes scratching our heads. Some of us have been working together for quite a few years now. We know each other’s habits and how everyone likes their tea in the afternoon. The neighborhood is usually quiet, except for the usual street noises like the milk man or people heading back from work. We like being tucked away in a colony rather than being in a huge glass tower downtown. It feels more personal and less stiff. When things get a bit stressful, we just take a quick walk down the street to clear our heads for a minute. We aren’t a huge corporation with thousands of employees and big budgets. It’s just a handful of us making sure our clients’ stuff works like it’s supposed to. There’s always something to fix or an update to run. We try to keep things simple and just do the job properly every day. It's a steady life here.
