Our workshop is situated at No : 5 on the 2nd Cross Street in Krishna Nagar, which is over in the Chromepet area. It is a bit of a residential-turned-industrial pocket, so you see a mix of houses and small units like ours. We focus on polymer work and engineering tasks, which basically means the place is often filled with the smell of materials and the sound of machines running. It can get pretty loud during the middle of the day when we have several projects going at once. The building itself has seen better days, and the paint is peeling in some corners, but it serves its purpose for the kind of heavy work we do here. We have a small yard out front where we load and unload supplies from the delivery trucks. It is not the easiest place to find if you are not from around here, as the cross streets can get a bit confusing for newcomers. Most of the people working here live nearby and have been with us for a long time now. We do not have a front desk or a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and find whoever is not busy with a machine to talk to. We deal with various engineering parts and plastic components, mostly for local requirements and businesses nearby. It is just honest work, day in and day out. We take our breaks together and talk about whatever is happening in the neighborhood while we eat our lunch.
